About this Product

Dainty Sky Blue Mushroom caps with white stems

Simple silver accents and stainless steal earring hooks and chain- I will never use lesser metals that cause irritations.

Approx. 3/4in tall x 1/2in wide these are dainty little mushrooms

Each Mushroom is hand sculpted with Soft glass creating a unique piece.

Every bead is special- each time I sit at the torch I use different compositions of colors, I melt the glass and shape/ sculpt each bead 1 at a time with my full focus. I am an Artist and not a machine- these works can be approximately reproduce but never copied.

I've put the pendant on a 18in stainless steal snake chain. This sits on most people at the bottom of the throat- think classic necklace length. I have a 24in chain option if you'd like the longer option- this would sit closer to the center of your chest.

The beads that I sculpt are made from soft glass CEO 96; which is the glass composition humans have been making glass art with for thousands of years. The glass shifts from solid into a molten liquid state by using a torch fueled with a mixture of oxygen and propane, generating temperatures 2500°F and higher. Literally shaping art from molten glass with the use of various tools.

Meet the Maker

WildRose Studios is my creative outlet; an online shop of my creations now available to the world.

I, Sierra Rose, am an artist and mother of 2 littles. Along with my husband we live in the country, building our dream homestead just outside of Eugene, OR. When I'm not in the studio you can find me outside in the sunshine doing the numerous DIY projects that a country home brings; building a chicken coop, raising ducks, planting the garden, dreaming of building a play structure for my kids and a new patio roof- the list in endless.

I have many hobbies- my hands have to be constantly creating or else I get stifled. Crochet work is my "inside art" that I can make sitting on the couch watching movies with my kids. I also dabble in leather work and bookbinding, paper arts like watercolor and collage. I dream of metalsmithing- but one thing at a time.

My husband and I built out my glass studio in our shop summer of 2024 and I am over the moon to have the space and luxury to once again create at home. I have been a Glass Artist for 20 years; selling at craft fairs and also teaching. I am now offering Cremation Art; I can add a dash of ash into a marble, suncatcher or pendant for you to wear. Keeping your loved one close and encased forever in solid glass. Creating a keepsake of your family member or pet- with the upmost respect and care, has been a dream of mine for many years. Look into my listings for info or contact me via email before purchasing if you have any questions.

My Art is made of borosilicate glass “hard glass” ( or Pyrex- same as your casserole dish). The glass shifts from solid into a molten liquid state by using a torch fueled by a mixture of oxygen and propane, generating temperatures beyond 2500°F. Literally shaping art from molten lava. Dangerously fun.

Melting glass into art is my main passion and I'm so excited to be creating this platform to share with you all.

Care instructions:

It is glass, you can’t really hurt it through normal wear. Soap and water are sufficient if it gets greasy or dusty. The glass could get scratched on concrete, rock or diamond. So don’t rub it on hard surfaces.

I send out my pendants with a stainless steel chain, also mostly impenetrable and easily cleaned.
